Cherry Calligram

Image
Above are my calligram and my sketch of my calligram. I think of it as if "life is a bowl of cherries" therefore, I want to live my life and hopefully to achieve my dreams. I wrote in my letter to my future self, that I want to be a real estate agent, which has forever been my dream job. During my process of using illustrator, I used many tools but by far my favorite was the curvature tool. That was the most commonly used one! I really enjoyed creating my cherries and I hope you enjoy it too! Below is my letter to my future self... Dear future self,    I am hoping twenty years from now I am richer than ever. Hopefully times will change, and people will change, and I will finally get the dream job I've always wanted. One day, hopefully by this time I will be a real estate agent in Oregon. After all these years all the work will finally pay off and I will graduate college with an advertising and public relation degree. I will finally learn the ways to become a real estate a...

Illustrator Videos

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TE9INcmRCdA After watching this video, I learned how to make the apple fitness app logo on illustrator. I thought that using the pen tool would most likely be the easiest part and making the cuts on the path would be the hardest part. I also feel as if the most interesting parts would be making the round edges of the shapes and making the shapes. It seems as if there is a lot of buttons to press on the screen which seems a little confusing.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NBKRywEbNs In this video I learned how to easily use illustrator for being a beginner. One word I learned was a vector, which is an image that can be scaled to infinity without losing quality. It seemed easy to customize your settings and what you’re going to create but it seemed hard to remember how to use all the settings. This video did a good job explaining al the trips and tricks and showed me exactly what to do.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GzumUieDPY This ...

The Way the World Works

The internet is a large global network full of millions and billions of all different types of electronic devices. The internet makes it so you can access any type of information all over the world including communicating with all types of people, working from your computer at home, and so much more. Bob Kahn and Vint Cerf founded the Internet in 1938 and 1943. They were both computer scientists who developed TCP/IP, which helped the ARPAnet evolve into what billions of people use today. Vint Cerf is known to be in the first person to use the word “internet.” Years ago, the internet was known to be used as a way for government researchers to share information.   The World Wide Web was created for all the public websites or pages that users can access on their local computers and other devices throughout the whole internet. A very common example that many individuals use today is Amazon, or even Google. In 1989, Time Berners-Lee created the World Wide Web, was a British scientist, a...

Introduction To My Life!

Image
I am super excited to be a part of this class and learn some new interesting things that will help me in the future. It seems to be a fun and judgement free environment and I can’t wait to see and hear everyone’s thoughts and ideas. I am expecting to learn new ways to create logos and just get deeper into the way things are created. Hopefully, one day I can use these new concepts and start my own business and create my own logos! My name is Morgan Rudowicz, I am an advertising and public relations major here at UT. I am from Geneva; Illinois and I am so happy to be living in Florida! I had played soccer my whole life and enjoy watching soccer all around the world. At home, I work two jobs and love to play with my dog and take her on long walks. Living in Florida has totally changed my perspective on the way I view everything. It is so nice to wake up every morning and be in the warm weather, it's the best perk about school. I am extremely excited to continue my education at UT for ...
