Cherry Calligram




Above are my calligram and my sketch of my calligram. I think of it as if "life is a bowl of cherries" therefore, I want to live my life and hopefully to achieve my dreams. I wrote in my letter to my future self, that I want to be a real estate agent, which has forever been my dream job. During my process of using illustrator, I used many tools but by far my favorite was the curvature tool. That was the most commonly used one! I really enjoyed creating my cherries and I hope you enjoy it too! Below is my letter to my future self...

Dear future self, 

 

I am hoping twenty years from now I am richer than ever. Hopefully times will change, and people will change, and I will finally get the dream job I've always wanted. One day, hopefully by this time I will be a real estate agent in Oregon. After all these years all the work will finally pay off and I will graduate college with an advertising and public relation degree. I will finally learn the ways to become a real estate agent and live my dream life. I hope to have a husband and at least two kids. I just hope that I get the recognition that I've always wanted and to live in a secluded area in the mountains of Oregon. But also staying close to the beach and my family. Having this lifestyle will truly make me happy in feel as a whole. I hope to find an amazing husband that supports me throughout everything and for him to have his dream job as well. It would also be super nice to have another little house in either Florida or the Carolinas. After getting my dream job I hope to travel the world, I've always wanted to see other countries and discover all the hidden gems around the world. I know that after being in school these next few years times will change, and the world will never be the same. I believe that even though things may change I will still be the person I have forever wanted to be. The only thing I asked for is to still stay close to my family members and my friends that have been with me throughout my life. I hope this all happened and you are as happy as ever, I can't wait to be what I've always dreamed to be.

  Above is my amazing portfolio, making this was sad, but I'm glad that everyone can see my hard work throughout the semester!! Time has gone by way too fast during these past few weeks, it feels like the second semester was not even a week. But, going into my portfolio, I decided to create a pink and colorful one that I found on Adobe Stock (I will place the link below). I wanted to also add pictures of me, my family, and friends as well. Plus, my dog that was also featured in some of my projects! Photoshop For Pros!

  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZACwQzj7TQ   I think that taking the actual objects out of the photo seems simple and easy. Before watching this video I would have had no idea how to do that at all. The hardest part seems to be using the tools in different ways, there was a lot of different things that were brought up. The images and textures seemed fun to use and gave so much detail! I thought that this video was very interesting and gave many different types of examples and definitions.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fc81tq05FAg   This video implies a “bootcamp” for viewers to learn about all of the tools in the toolbar. I thought it was interesting that you could actually move the tool bar to your liking and could even make it into two columns. BW to Color HW

 Hello! Below are three images of my puppy Rudy and I. This image was taken during my spring break, which was spent at home with my family and friends. The colors I chose were more pink and purple tones, with also some blues and oranges. I tried to just make the colors pop out of Rudy and me, but in a few images, I added a little color in the background as well. I enjoyed adding all the different types of colors and seeing how they all worked together. This was a super fun and entertaining project that really kept me on my feet! I hope you enjoy!
